She admits to framing him with another man yet they haven’t been arrested yet. And we’re just supposed to believe women who say they’ve been beaten and/or raped when shit like this happens all the time. Women like this are the reason why victims of domestic violence and rape are doubted. It’s not because of ‘rape culture’ — it’s because of women like this. [source]
And we’re just supposed to believe women who say they’ve been beaten and/or raped when shit like this happens all the time.
You’re officially a piece of shit. We don’t stop arresting murderers because some deaths are faked; we don’t stop people from claiming home insurance because some people fake it; we don’t ignore victims of child abuse because some kids cry wolf. It’s absolutely despicable (and in this context, sexist, as you specify only female abuse victims) to deny abuse victims help because other people lie about it.
When someone fakes their death it is usually to fraudulently collect insurance money or to avoid being captured by the law. However, these attempts at faking death are typically unsuccessful. People who fake their deaths also don’t implicate others as their murderers considering that would require a lot of police investigation which is something those who fake their deaths do not want. So they choose to frame their deaths up as accidental, suicidal, or as an unexplained disappearance.
Insurance fraud is investigated like all crimes are investigated but unlike murder or rape crimes the only victim in these cases are the insurance companies themselves which is why 41 states have their own fraud bureaus operated by law enforcement personnel.
In both of those examples there are no victims other than insurance companies. You have also minimized the seriousness of domestic violence and sexual assault by comparing it to fraud. And I’m the piece of shit?
When it comes to child abuse, you should really look into false memory and how children can be manipulated into accusing adults of abuse. Because of the 1980s child abuse hysteria, false memory is now considered in child abuse cases. So even child abuse claims are questioned whether they’re truthful or not though some still get though the investigating process and innocent people spend 40 years in prison. There have been 166 people exonerated since 1989 of child sex abuse, many who had already served up to 30 years in prison and many who were serving a life sentence. But hey, let’s just believe women and children on their word.
Now, it appears to me that you don’t have a brain which is why you thought I suggested that because women lie about domestic violence and sexual assault we then shouldn’t take them seriously though this is not what I was saying. What I said is that women like this are the reason why victims of domestic violence and rape are doubted. Feminists want people to just believe women on their word without any evidence or proper investigation. Though we can see in this story that women will go to great lengths to falsify their victimization in order to obtain money. Therefore, investigations, interrogations, and innocent until proven guilty are important pieces to figuring out whether an abuse or rape actually occurred. If feminists had it their way the ex-boyfriend would have been arrested, incarcerated, and she would have been able to use credit cards in his name.
So I never said victims should be denied help but somehow you interpreted it that way. Probably due to your lack of reading comprehension. Next time, perhaps you should try reading slowly and sounding the words out before you reblog with an obvious knee-jerk reaction.
Your response, fohfuu.
